The rock and roll all-dayer originally planned for Saturday October 23rd 2010 has unfortunately been postponed due to other events clashing.
To replace the all-dayer we will be having a special Rock & Roll night with The Jets on Saturday October 23rd 2010. Tickets will be £8 (members) / £10 (guests).
Although the date for the all-dayer was fixed after consultation with other venues, a weekender popular with our members decided to move their date forward a week from the date they had originally given us and are now clashing.
Another East Anglian weekender has since been announced on this same weekend.
Under the circumstances we felt it prudent not to risk the high outlay involved in putting on this event.
We are sure you will have a terrific night with the Jets and we will announce a new date for the all-dayer in due course.
Edit: The promoter of the event in question has complained that the above information is incorrect. We stand by the statement above but by way of clarification, regardless of the date that the promoter had in mind, the date given to us by the event venue was the weekend of October 30th which is one week after the date we subsequently planned our event. The statement above clearly refers to the date given to us by the venue.
